OP in the first double length ass special of doom is an insert so gg’s isn’t going to include a tl. So here’s my tl, of what I think is going to be the TV cut of the song.

Reflections and notes after the ep releases, I guess.

EDIT: 日本人のお客様は良く最初の英語の意味を聞きに来たようで、加えておきます。(I’m a little terrified that Japanese people are actually visiting this blog.)

EDIT: It’s been long enough so I’m going to finish the song. やっと残り分を訳して加えます。もちろん和訳も。（日本人の皆さん、毎日ありがとうございます。） Also, to clean up the formatting, I’ve put the transliterations in mouseover text over the Japanese.

tlnotes:

• 全力で未完成 is under contention everywhere. No one seems to have any better ideas (I’ve heard 全力で向かうぜ but it definitely doesn’t seem like an Akino lyric) and it definitely sounds right. UPDATE: That was the real lyric! I’m still fuzzy on the meaning.
• I can’t shake the feeling that 君と灰になるため is completely wrong but it seems like what everyone. including me, is hearing. I still have doubts about the previous line too. UPDATE: That was also the real lyric! I have no idea what’s up with this show.
• And of course there’s a chance that any line may be obtuse symbolism from the show that we’re not going to get until an arbitrary week during the season (underneath the tree of life we listened to etc.).
